Earthenware, underglaze, glaze, Food safe, Holds 12 oz
Artist and high school art educator Christy Culp first fell in love with clay in 1991 while earning her teaching degree at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Today, her pottery is instantly recognizable by its vibrant depictions of lemons, oranges, bees and fresh garden vegetables. Christyβs recent work introduces charismatic crows and goats full of personality and sass. In honor of the Freeport Pride celebration, she has crafted a unique, joyful mug featuring a playful goat leaping through a rainbow.
βAs a high school art teacher, I work with students aged 14 to 19 during a pivotal chapter of their lives. My greatest hope is that they find the creative space and voice to become who they truly areβa wish I hold for every person in our communities. This mug is a vibrant celebration of life, living authentically, and the power of a supportive community.β

Janet Brown is a self-taught hand embroiderer located in Sarver. Pride is very important to her, and she created this piece because itβs a beautiful design, and to raise money for the organization. She is so glad this wonderful group exists to support and celebrate love.
βMy mom taught me to cross-stitch when I was a young child. I dabbled in it sporadically for years, until I discovered embroidery and the freedom of creation it allows. Iβve struggled with mental illness since I was a teen, and embroidery has completely opened up my once stagnant creative mind and I cannot get enough.β
