We want to thank everyone who joined us last Thursday, June 18th, for the ribbon cutting and 40th anniversary celebration at National TV Sales & Rental.

They are conveniently located at 409 West Main Street in Fredericktown. We are proud to welcome and celebrate a Missouri-owned business to the Madison County community.

Guests enjoyed refreshments while touring the store, which is packed with quality home furnishings, appliances, electronics and even e-bikes and bbq grills. We had so much fun trying out everything from the chenille fabric couches to the matching camo covered fridge and deep freeze

They offer flexible payment options designed to fit the needs of our community. Thank you again to everyone who came out to show their support and share in the celebration, and congratulations to the entire team at National TV Sales & Rental on four decades of excellence. Here is to many more years of success.

🤖 Curious about AI but not sure where to start?

Join us for **Your First 90 Days with AI: A Beginner's Guide**, a hands-on course designed for people with little to no experience using artificial intelligence.

📅 Thursdays beginning July 23 at 6:00 PM
📍 MAC Fredericktown Outreach Center
💲 $55 for all four sessions

Over four sessions, participants will:

• Learn what AI is and how it works
• Compare popular AI platforms
• Learn how to write effective prompts
• Build practical projects for home, work, or a small business

Most AI courses are built around technical concepts and theory. This one isn't.

Unlike many AI instructors, John and Emily Wright recently went through the beginner stage themselves. That shapes everything about how they teach. The course focuses on practical applications, plain language, and real-world examples rather than technical jargon.

Whether you're curious, skeptical, or simply wondering what all the excitement is about, this course is designed to help you get started with confidence.

⚠️ Space is limited.

We are thrilled to welcome Udderz Diner to the Fredericktown business family! On Saturday, the Madison County Chamber of Commerce celebrated their official ribbon cutting.

Local owners Andy and Laura Michael have completely transformed the old gas station at the corner of South Main and West College into an incredible 1950s theme diner and ice cream shop. This is their third restaurant in town, and the vintage decor is absolutely amazing, complete with a classic car replica and neon signs.

They are ready to serve you a wide variety of old time diner classics for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The diner side is open Thursday through Monday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the ice cream shop is open every single day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

What is your all time favorite ice cream flavor? Tell us in the comments below and tag a friend you want to take to Udderz Diner this week!

The bright yellow landmark in Marquand has an exciting new chapter. The Madison County Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated a ribbon cutting for the grand re-opening of the Yellow She Shack Mercantile under its fantastic new owners, the Pirtle family.

When the historic 1888 building went up for sale, Mike and Rachel Pirtle knew it was the perfect opportunity to bring their long-held dream to life in a community they love.

Located at 117 North Whitener Street in beautiful Marquand, this local gem truly has something for everyone. Step inside and you will find everything from fudge and pure cane sugar sodas to fabric by the yard and quilting kits. They also stock wellness products, herbal teas, custom BBQ seasonings, and unique gifts.

Make sure to stop by, support the Pirtle family, and take a photo in front of the gorgeous historical mural on the side of the building.

They are open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Be sure to follow the Yellow She Shack Mercantile page to stay updated on all their latest arrivals and special events.
