Last nights Fredericksburg Area Running Club Summer Track Series was a thing to behold! We had music and friends and Saucony Demo-ing speed shoes and all the weird runner foods and drinks! We have results from the first 3 races. The bulk of photos and all results will live here and in a linked instagram profile to this page. We ARE FARC, but we want you to be able to locate things easily and in one place as this is going to be the best summer yet!!! Poll for next weeks events to follow!

We are only half way through the week and already we’ve had lots of fun in our club!

On Monday, we had a fun pop-up social where we went for a run, enjoyed a little music and followed up with beers and burgers. There was even a little competitive dart playing. Two of our runners coincidentally wore matching t-shirts and had matching dart scores! 🎯

For Track Tuesday, we had comfortable running temps and runners of all ages! Saucony hosted a shoe demo and had giveaways. Congrats to Earl, the big prize winner!

Are we ready for another evening running on the track?

Tuesday’s events include a 1600, 800, and
4 x 400 meter run. We will continue to host the 100m run for the littles.

A Saucony rep will be out during our event for a shoe demo and with giveaways. Arrive a few minutes early to try on some shoes and sign up for events.

We are officially half-way through our Grand Prix Series!

The SPCA 5k was fun for two-legged and four-legged alike. This year it was muggy instead of rainy and it felt appropriate for a kick off to summer racing.

It’s such a great problem to have: a large group of runners squeezing into a single photo. We absolutely love our running community and welcoming some new faces this morning was the cherry on top.

Please join us at 7:00 am tomorrow for our group run. We meet at the corner of William and Princess Anne Street. Choose from a 3 or 6 mile route and we’d be happy to show you the way.
