Coming this summer in Fredericksburg! First up: Art in the Park! Next Saturday!

It’s our annual Summer Reading kick off that we host with Simply Hand Made! There will be food, face painting, so many art activities, and this year even a blacksmithing demonstration that you get to take part in! 10:00-Noon, rain or shine. Join us!

WHAT: Needle-felted Beehive Workshop
WHEN: June 4th 6:00 PM - 8:30ish PM
WHERE: Fredericksburg Community Library, Downstairs Multipurpose Room
COST: $10 - Includes all materials, light refreshments, and good company!

ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED!!! Space and materials are limited. Please email [email protected] to register. Please include the names of those attending and a phone number where we can reach you in case the weather takes a turn and we need to postpone the class.

We are setting off on a grand adventure this Saturday and there are still 9 spots available! Join us on a journey to the Ohio Bird Sanctuary, Kingwood Center Gardens, and Malabar Farm! A new art installation will even be in place throughout the Kingwood Gardens when we arrive!

We won’t have preschool StoryTime when we celebrate Father’s Day, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t wonderful stories to share about the Dads, Granddads, and father figures of all kinds who make our world better! We will get a head start celebrating Dads tomorrow!

Next week will be our final preschool StoryTime of the year. Watch for more details about our end of the school year picnic at a special location and time, or pick up more info at the library tomorrow!

There is a new story at the StoryWalk and new growth showing up everywhere you look. The sun is even shining today! What a perfect day to visit and explore both the story and the wooded path! Don’t eat the mushrooms though!!!!!
