The Table at St. George's The Table at St. George's is an open market fresh food pantry, specializing in local farm produce. We are open for shopping every Tuesday 12 noon-1:00 p.m.

in Market Square next to St George's Episcopal Church. The Table, St. George’s market-style fresh food pantry, reopened to the public on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in Market Square, beside St. George’s Episcopal Church. The shopping timeframe has changed and we will be there from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. each Tuesday. All are welcome to shop every week! During the pandemic beginning in April 2020, we shif

ted all of our operations to our Table In The World model, delivering fresh local produce (vegetables/fruit/eggs) directly to 10 neighborhoods/community partners who safely receive, pack, and distribute the produce to their clients. Since 2012, volunteers at the Table have been welcoming people to our food pantry in the hope that at this Table, as at our altar table, all may come and find sustenance. What makes the Table unique, above and beyond its market-style approach that allows patrons to choose the foods they need for their families, is its commitment to providing fresh produce each week. The Table purchases crates of fresh produce from a local farmer, the Flores family. Each Sunday afternoon, on their way back to Westmoreland County from the Dale City Farmers Market, their truck stops by St. George's for us to receive our crates of produce. We supplement fruit, eggs, and additional produce items from Produce Source. We also collect urban gleanings from WaWa, Wegmans, Jimmy John’s, Jersey Mike’s, the Old Towne Butcher and other local businesses. Our funding comes from St. Georgians, The Community Foundation, various grants, local businesses and generous community members! Your donations are put to good work buying fresh fruits and veggies!

What you see in the blink of an eye is 110+ shoppers picking up free fresh veggies, fruit, free clothes and more! And there’s soo much more happening behind the scenes.

The Table is open at St. George’s from 12noon-1pm every Tuesday.

The Table WILL be open on Tuesday, February 10 (after being closed for the past two weeks). However we must caution our shoppers and volunteers, the small side of Sydnor and the kitchen are under construction for damage during the storm. There will not be chairs for shoppers to sit, standing room only. Please consider coming after 11:00am to get your number.

The Table is open for shopping from 12noon to 1pm. Entrance is on the George Street side.

The recent winter storm has left mounds of frozen ice with sporadic building access and parking downtown. In addition, frozen water pipes in St. George’s Sydnor Hall will force us to close The Table this upcoming week, Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Be safe. Be warm, and keep your eyes on the ice!

The Table is moving inside Sydnor Hall (George Street side) on Tuesday, December 16 from 12 noon-1pm due to the cold weather. The line begins to form before 11.

This is the LAST TABLE of 2025!!

The Table will be closed Dec 23 and Dec 30.

We will reopen Jan 6 and be inside Sydnor Hall through the winter. We will announce and post when we move outside at a later date.

We are open the last Tuesday of 2025 on December 16. When we come back on January 6, we will be inside Sydnor Hall. Entrance on George Street side. The Table will be open from 12noon- 1pm, our regular hours every Tuesday. The line begins to form just before 11am. See you next year!
