Voices of Resilience shined a light on and uplifted the voices that are always here, but are not always heard. These talented and resilient participants speak volumes through their powerful, emotional photos in Transformative Arts Project's Second Annual Photo Voice Exhibit. The exhibit is made up of 99 images and 78 participants whose ages ranged from 8-80... wow!!

The strong and resilient participants came from...
- Asian American Center of Frederick Immigrant Communities
-Ukranian Refugees
-Hood Diversity Coalition
- The Frederick Center youth

Voices of Resilience was a time to remember. Marlene Young, President of the Delaplaine Arts Center, gave a thoughtful speech, touching on the impact of this exhibit throughout our Frederick Community. Other special guests included Elizabeth Chung, Executive Director of AACF, Jessica Fitzwater, County Executive, and Joshua Kamaka Alameda, who flew out from Hawaii just to be at this special event!

Thank you to each and every participant and attendee of the exhibit. In case you missed it, the exhibit will be on display for the whole month of May - so go check it out!
