The Birthing Circle A 501(c)3 in Maryland, Rooted in birth,
nurtured by community. Fostering support and connection,
from the earliest age through every stage of parenthood.

We provide resources, information, and support. Welcoming and Affirming. The Birthing Circle is a federal nonprofit that provides community support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We host monthly meetings on educational topics and for general support, and have a specialized Postpartum Depression/ Mental Health support group called Embrace. See our Events tab for more info. We also run our Frederick Doula Program, connecting low-income and marginalized families with free or sliding-scale childbirth & doula services. Inquiries can be sent to [email protected]
