We would like to officially welcome Coach Jakob Moles to the Frederick Bombers coaching staff! Coach Moles comes to us from Cordell High School and will coach the running backs and help coach the secondary this season. Coach will also serve as the head baseball coach for FHS in the spring! We are excited to have you on our side Coach!

Coach Darnell comes to us from Temple High School and will help coach the offensive and defensive line this season. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program! 🏆🏈 The Frederick Bombers have their new Head Coach! Scott Mathews will now pilot the football program into the future, bringing 10 years of coaching/teaching experience, all with Frederick Public Schools. As a player, Scott was on the 94, 95 & 96 State Championship teams. As a coach, he has been Defensive Coordinator for the past 7 years, while also leading the Bombers to Powerlifting State Championships in 20, 21 & 22.

Scott has been married to his wife Amanda, a teacher at FMS, for 24 years. Their children are Molly (30) Zacary (23) Alexander (20) and Aubrey (13). Please Re-“Welcome” Coach Mathews and Go Bombers, Spread Your Wings!
