☀️ An absolutely beautiful morning here at Hearts of the Herd to enjoy some yoga and mindfulness activities with the AMAZING Danica from Each 1 Teach 1, Inc.. She does such an incredible job of creating a fun space to learn different ways to bring calm and balance to ourselves. She shared breathing techniques, different ways we can move our body and ways to bring intention and balance to what we are doing. Thank you Danica!! ☮️

🐴 🫏 After our time with Danica, we headed into the arena for some time with Ricky and Eliza. Families could connect however they chose during this time with brushing, leading or just enjoying the calm and quiet of the space.

Ricky just being Ricky. 🫏
Not only does he provide moments of laughter with his antics but he also shows up in sessions just when he is needed. Three Equine Assisted Therapy sessions today and the herd showed up in simple yet amazing ways.

Equine-assisted psychotherapy offers many benefits:

A rainy day here at Hearts of the Herd means inside time to finalize everything for week 1 of Summer Session and the herd doing their best to stay dry. Praying the forecast for storms on Monday pushes to later in the day.
