The fleet will soon be back for another season.
These boats are all built and sponsored by local businesses who they pick a charity to raise funds for.
They will remain moored in place and sail on their fundraising mission until early March.

All of this is done with love for our community. Us as well as our founding sister project Color On The Creek are all volunteer run.

This is a free art installation for all to enjoy with a simple mission.
Bringing light, joy and giving back to our community.

We had another amazing season, this year 29 floated upon our beloved Carroll Creek and 1 held out the season on land.

A little over $120,000 was raised to support charities right here in Frederick.

Thank you all for your continued support of this ever changing art installation that brings beauty and lasting enrichment to our community.

The social world won’t let us tag all 30 charities and their sponsors, the businesses who help support the challenge of placing and retrieving the fleet. Not to mention the community who visited, and voted for this fleet. If you are reading this your impact made a difference and we appreciate it.

This project is all volunteer run to provide light and beauty to our community. We are the proud sister project of . NEITHER of these projects would be possible without our dedicated volunteers, we truly appreciate each of you.

Downtown Frederick Partnership, in collaboration with the Ausherman Family Foundation and the City of Frederick, is launching Carroll Creek Refresh, an initiative to enhance, repair, and thoughtfully improve one of Downtown Frederick’s most valued public spaces.

We’re asking community members to share their thoughts on the current condition of the park and ideas for future improvements, including landscape enhancements and a potential shade structure at the amphitheater.

Whether you visit often, attend events, live nearby, or just enjoy an occasional walk, your feedback will help guide the future of Carroll Creek.

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and can be taken in Spanish or other languages.

This fleet will sail its last day very soon.

If you have favorites be certain to VOTE before they disappear.

The five that raise the lowest amount for their charities could face possible elimination to make room for potential new boats next year.
