Due to inclement weather, the Franklin Senior Center, along with all non-emergency town departments will be closed on Monday, February 23rd.

The Franklin Senior Center will open at 10AM Tuesday, January 27th. Common Grounds will only be providing lunch and all programs prior to 10AM are cancelled. Thank you for your patience and please be safe coming in tomorrow. Can't wait to see you!

Tomorrow is a great time to join us and the Franklin Senior Center for a Winter Wonderland Community Event from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

There is something for everyone from a visit with Santa, many raffles, kids crafts, beautifully decorated trees, a Silent Auction with many items to bid on much more. Plan on coming so you don’t miss the fun!

The Franklin Senior Center is hosting our fourth annual Winter Wonderland Community Event next week!

It's on Thursday, December 11 from 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Come one, come all! The entire community is invited, we hope to see you there! This is open to all ages. This is a completely free event but be sure to bring a little extra money for the large scale raffle put together by our Friends of Franklin Elders Inc. - FOFE

Friendsgiving with The Beatles (Featuring: Studio Two Beatles Tribute) was held at the Franklin Senior Center and sponsored by the Friends of Franklin Elders Inc. - FOFE.
This Tribute was fantastic and the food was delicious.

Thank you! Nearly 80 Family/Friend Caregivers were treated to spa services, food, entertainment, raffles, free gifts and tons of advice at our first annual Caregiver Appreciation Day Event at the Franklin Senior Center last Friday 11/7. This could not have been accomplished without all of the donors and volunteers. Nearly 70 businesses in and around Franklin contributed!!!! Great time at the first Caregiver Appreciation Day today. Every Caregiver who joined us today was able to enjoy being pampered. This included options to eat a great breakfast, lunch, and delicious desserts; get their hair styled; a chance to win a raffle prize; do a fall craft; enjoy chair yoga, reflexology, Reiki, and massages; get a manicure and listen to fantastic music.
There were plenty of vendors who came so that the Caregivers could get information on assisted living, veteran's information, Alzheimer information, the Sheriff's department, VNA, Tri-Valley and Hanscom.
The Caregivers were given a flower cookie and a magnet that told them that they were appreciated for their hard work.

We want to thank everyone who came today - whether you were a vendor or volunteer and especially the Caregivers who came for a day of relaxation. You all made this day a success.
