I’m honored to be serving on the “Committee On Resolutions” in 2026 for the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board ()

What the Committee On Resolutions does is: 1) Receive and review written resolutions from messengers, and 2) Develop and recommend resolutions to the messengers as deemed appropriate by the committee.

(As an FYI: a “messenger” for the Southern Baptist Convention is an elected representative from a cooperating local church who attends the annual meeting to vote on business, policies, budget, and leadership)

You know how too often we Christians got saved and initially had a passionate love for Jesus … but that passion dwindled over time? Why does that happen?

To grow your love for God you have to desire more of Him. And also desire to be used by Him!

Get right with God, before it’s too late. Believe in His name!

“Anxiety” affects even Christians.

Our minds (thoughts) and emotions (feelings) regularly betray us. The devil often fires that arrow at Christians in order to isolate us from fellowship, and to stop us from praying or reading God’s Word.

But God wants to give us a peace that surpasses all understanding.

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
(Philippians 4:7)
