Real needs require real love.

Not just words.
Not just good intentions.
Not just church talk.

Real love listens.
Real love shows up.
Real love notices people others overlook.
Real love points people to Jesus while also caring about what they are walking through right now.

Food.
Housing.
Recovery.
Discipleship.
Family restoration.

These are not just “issues.” These are people. These are families. These are neighbors.

Macon County Kingdom Work exists because we believe the Church is called to love in word and in action.

“We love because he first loved us.”
1 John 4:19

Macon County is full of people already serving quietly.

Churches.
Pastors.
Food ministries.
Recovery ministries.
Nonprofits.
Teachers.
Neighbors.
Families.
People who see needs and step in without needing credit.

We want to know who they are.

Who is already serving Macon County well?

Tag them.
Message us.
Tell us who we should learn from.

This is not about replacing good work. It is about recognizing it, learning from it, praying over it, and asking how the Body of Christ can work together better.

Today we are praying for wisdom.

Not just ideas.
Not just excitement.
Not just momentum.

Wisdom.

Wisdom to listen before speaking.
Wisdom to serve without pride.
Wisdom to connect without competing.
Wisdom to help without hurting.
Wisdom to honor the work already being done in Macon County.

Our prayer is simple:

Lord, give us open ears and humble hearts.

If you’re praying with us, pray that God would show us where the needs are, who is already serving well, and how the Church can come alongside people in a way that truly reflects Jesus.

We’re still in the listening stage.

Before Macon County Kingdom Work becomes anything more than a burden, a prayer, and a page, we want to hear from people who love this county and see the needs up close.

What needs are most overlooked in Macon County?

Food needs?
Housing struggles?
Addiction and recovery?
Families under pressure?
Special needs families?
Loneliness?
Discipleship?
Transportation?
People falling through the cracks?

We don’t want to assume we know. We want to listen first.

Comment below or message the page if there is a need, ministry, church, or servant-hearted person we should learn from.

Sunday feels like the right day to pause and pray.

Before Macon County Kingdom Work becomes anything more than a page, we want it to be covered in prayer. We don’t want to move ahead of God. We don’t want to build something out of pride, emotion, or ambition. We want to listen first, pray first, and serve where the Lord opens the door.

So today we’re asking a simple question:

How can we pray for Macon County?

Pray for a family.
Pray for a church.
Pray for someone battling addiction.
Pray for housing needs.
Pray for food needs.
Pray for broken families.
Pray for our schools.
Pray for our leaders.
Pray for the people nobody sees.

You can comment below, or if it’s private, send us a message.

We are listening first.

Macon County Kingdom Work is still in the very beginning stages. We are not trying to rush ahead, duplicate what others are already doing, or assume we know all the answers.

Right now, we are asking God to connect us with the right people.

If you know of a real need in Macon County, we want to hear about it.

If you know a ministry, church, nonprofit, school contact, recovery leader, food pantry worker, employer, public servant, or community leader we should listen to, please let us know.

If you have ideas, wisdom, concerns, connections, resources, skills, or a willingness to serve, we would love to hear from you.

Our first areas of focus are:

Food and basic needs
Housing help and practical service
Recovery, discipleship, and family restoration

This is not about building a name.
This is not about church competition.
This is not about replacing faithful ministries already doing good work.

This is about asking:

What could the body of Christ do together that none of us can do alone?

We believe the Church is called to more than words. We are called to love, serve, disciple, give, pray, and get our hands dirty for the glory of God and the good of our neighbors.

A new movement is beginning in Macon County.

Macon County Kingdom Work is starting from the ground up with one simple burden:

What could the body of Christ do together that none of us can do alone?

Before we host a big meeting, launch a program, raise money, or assume we know the answers, we want to listen.

We want to hear from the people who are already close to the pain in our county:

CareNet leadership.
School counselors and social workers.
Macon County Public Health contacts.
Pastors and ministry leaders.
Recovery leaders.
Law enforcement and EMS contacts.
Food pantry workers.
People serving elderly residents.
Housing repair and weatherization groups.
Local employers who understand the working-poor struggle.

We are not trying to replace ministries that already exist. We are not trying to compete with churches. We are not trying to build another brand.

We are asking whether churches, ministries, business owners, volunteers, and everyday believers can come together for gospel-centered service, discipleship, and mercy.

Our first three lanes of focus are:

1. Food and basic needs
2. Housing help and practical service
3. Recovery, discipleship, and family restoration

But before we act, we want to listen.

We want to ask:

What is the biggest unmet need you see in Macon County?

Where are churches already helping well?

Where are churches missing opportunities?

What practical help would actually move the needle?

If 20 churches worked together, what should they do first?

This is not about blame. It is about burden.

This is not about church competition. It is about Kingdom cooperation.

This is not about talking big and doing nothing. It is about prayer, unity, wisdom, and then real action.

If you are a pastor, ministry leader, counselor, teacher, social worker, recovery leader, food pantry worker, public servant, employer, volunteer, or someone already serving people in need, we would love to hear from you.

What if the churches of Macon County worked together like one body?

Not one denomination.
Not one building.
Not one pastor.
Not one logo.

One body. One mission. One Kingdom.

Macon County has many Christian churches, ministries, and faithful believers already doing good work. But the needs around us are still heavy: food insecurity, housing struggles, addiction, family brokenness, loneliness, poverty, and working families who are barely making it.

This page is being created as a first step toward something simple but serious:

Can churches, pastors, ministry leaders, business owners, and everyday believers come together to pray, listen, organize, and serve Macon County in the name of Jesus?

We are beginning with three lanes of focus:

1. Food and basic needs
2. Housing help and practical service
3. Recovery, discipleship, and family restoration

This is not about church competition.
This is not about who gets credit.
This is not about replacing what is already being done.

This is about asking one question:

What could the body of Christ do together that none of us can do alone?

If you are a pastor, ministry leader, community servant, business owner, volunteer, prayer warrior, or believer who wants to see real Kingdom work happen in Macon County, follow this page and reach out.

We are praying toward a first Kingdom Work Roundtable soon.

One Church. One County. One Mission.

06/23/2026

Macon County Kingdom Work exists to call Christian churches, ministries, and believers across Macon County to work together for gospel-centered service, discipleship, and mercy ministry.

Our burden is simple: the needs in our county are too great for churches to remain isolated, divided, or unaware of one another’s work. We believe the body of Christ can do more together than any one congregation can do alone.

Our initial focus areas are:

1. Food and basic needs
2. Housing help and practical service
3. Recovery, discipleship, and family restoration

This page is not here to compete with local churches or replace existing ministries. It is here to encourage unity, communication, prayer, volunteer service, and practical Kingdom work in Macon County.

We are currently in the early organizing stage and are not accepting donations directly at this time. Our first goal is prayer, connection, listening, volunteer organization, and partnership with existing churches and ministries.

One Church. One County. One Mission.
