Thank you, Harrison County Schools, for helping feed children throughout the summer months!

Starting Wednesday, June 3, and continuing through July 31, the Summer Feeding program will set up at the River Road Ball Park concession area from noon to 12:30 p.m. (eat-in only) and at the high school cafeteria/student drop-off area from 11 a.m. to noon (eat-in or drive-thru).

Like Alice Cooper once famously decreed, school’s out for summer! No more pencils, no more books.

Yup… It’s back! Kentucky Summer EBT provides $120 in extra grocery benefits to families in our community. Many eligible children are automatically enrolled in Summer EBT through other programs they already participate in.

🍎But, some eligible families will need to apply. Help spread the word to let other families in Kentucky know that it’s easy to see if you’re eligible feedingky.org/sebteligibility.

Today is World Hunger Day, Kentucky! According to recent data, over 750,000 Kentuckians are food insecure. That’s over 16% of our population in the state. Until that number hits zero, we will continue advocate for policies to end hunger and continue working with farmers, food banks, schools, and other partners to provide meals for Kentuckians in need.
