KEMA had an incredible week at IAEM! Our cohort had the opportunity to learn, connect, and bring home new ideas that will strengthen emergency management across Kentucky. With 15 county EMA’s, the SEOC, KYEM Area 7, and one private industry represented this week, we were thrilled with the turnout of members!

Next, a huge congratulations to Jeana Craft on officially earning her Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) credential. This outstanding achievement reflects her dedication and professionalism. We’re proud to have her representing Kentucky on the national stage!

Finally, congratulations to our KEMA Treasurer Drew Chandler, honored as the 2025 Emergency Manager of the Year! This award recognizes an emergency management practitioner for outstanding contributions to the field of emergency management.
