⭐️ Leadership Extravaganza Day ⭐️

Today, the 5th and 6th grade student council kids from both Dixon Elementary School and Sebree Elementary School were able to participate in a leadership day with the seniors of the YES Youth Council. This day consisted of team building activities, low ropes courses, canoeing and a spur of the moment addition of foam dodgeball at the Western Kentucky 4H Camp.

⭐️ 2026 Character Carnival is in the books! ⭐️

Thank you to all of the sponsors that made this event possible this year. An even bigger thanks to two of our YES Youth Council seniors, Caila Clary and Raynei Roy, for getting donations and for choosing to do a book drive as their FRYSC AmeriCorps service project. It would not have been possible without their hard work!

Another big thank you to all of the youth council members who dressed up and all the other students who were willing to step up and be characters so that we could make this event just as successful as in the past.

Enjoy a few pictures!

🌟 Happy Parent Leadership Month! 🌟

This month, we want to give a very special shoutout to the incredible parents who serve on our FRYSC Advisory Councils.

Your leadership, voice, and dedication make a difference in ways that can’t always be measured — but are felt every single day in our schools and community. You help guide decisions, strengthen programs, advocate for families, and ensure that student needs remain at the center of everything we do.

Serving on an advisory council takes time, heart, and commitment — and you give all three generously. Your willingness to step up and partner with us helps create stronger connections between home, school, and community.

Because of you, our FRYSC programs are more responsive, more inclusive, and more impactful.

Thank you for your leadership.
Thank you for your partnership.

And most of all, thank you for believing in our students and families. 💙

We appreciate you today and every day!

The WCHS YES Youth Council spent the day at the “Beyond the Smoke” 2026 KY Youth To***co Control Conference.

They had the opportunity to work with other youth coalitions across the state and take part in a “mock trial” type activity to address Big To***co and their lies when it comes to the v**e industry targeting our youth.

They are ready to return to Webster County to continue their advocacy efforts within our schools and community.
