Open daily from 8am-10am.

Vegetables will be on the porch of the red barn daily on a “take what you need leave what you can” basis. Our Mission

The Foxborough Community Farmstand is a non profit organization that is fully staffed by volunteers. We offer the freshest vegetables grown by our dedicated volunteers and from local farms. Profits are donated to the Foxborough Discretionary Fund. We hope you will join us in the s

According to Town Historian Jack Authelet, the spot which the farmstand and garden are on is rich in Foxboro agricultural history. In 1914, the Foxborough State Hospital was opened and shortly thereafter a working farm was started at the Walnut Street location to produce fresh vegetables and dairy products for the hospital. Patients would be driven down to the farm each morning to go to work. The farm produced a large amount of food for the Foxborough State Hospital. There were cows on the farm and this helped produce milk products for the hospital. The garden was a great source of fresh food at a reduced cost for the state; in fact, during a "good season" the state would actually process and can some of the vegetables from the garden and offer them for sale under the state hospital label. The patients found it very enjoyable to work on the farm and in the garden. It also proved to be good therapy. Now, a century later, the farmstand and garden still brings people to work together for the common good of helping our neighbors. The farmstand and garden is completely staffed by volunteers of all ages from the community. The success depends on the support of volunteers and volunteers are needed at this time. If anyone has a cupboard full of vases they don't know what to do with, well now you do! You can donate them to the Foxboro Farmstand for next years flowers. We have used all our vases and even mason jars this year and are in need for next year. If you have any- big or small please drop off on the porch of the red barn at the stand.

SPREADING SOME JOY AND APPRECIATION TODAY!

The garden is still producing 🎉

Flower bouquets were distributed this week to some of our schools and the senior center, among other places.

There’s also some bohemith
sized zucchini on the porch that could feed a family for a week….along with the last of Earle’s tomatoes.

Take what you need leave what you can.

Fresh flower bouquets straight out of our community garden are available on the porch for a $5 donation. Special thanks to dianapgriffin and her fabulous Sunday morning crew for heading this effort up.

Veggies, tomatoes (green and red), and lettuce are also on the porch for you to take what you need and leave a donation if you can.

Green tomatoes on the porch! 💚🍅

Due to recent storms, some of our tomato plants were knocked down due to heavy wind.

However, rather than let the tomatoes go to waste, we are picking them and leaving them out for whoever may need them!

Please don't hesitate to message us if we run out, we will restock!

NEW GARDEN SUPERVISOR GETS THE JOB DONE 🥰😆

Our newest recruit oversaw garden activities perched high atop his station on his milk crate this past week 💙.

We’re loving his work ethic…first week on the job and already he managed to get rid of all of the construction equipment in the lot 🤯 ….. plenty of space to park now folks thanks to this guy!

But seriously….how cute is he ☺️

Fresh picked veggies will be on the porch all week, take what you need leave what you can…and yes we have 🍅 👍

Enjoy the weekend Foxborough! Looks like a beauty!

The porch is loaded up with fresh picked veggies to help with your weekend festivities. As always take what you need and leave a donation if you can.

If anyone is free Saturday 8/16 OR Sunday 8/17 we could use a couple of extra hands in the garden from 7:30-10 (or as long as you can stay.)

We have an early food pantry pick up that we need to get ready for.
