Open daily while supplies last.

Vegetables will be on the porch of the red barn daily on a “take what you need leave what you can” basis. Our Mission

The Foxborough Community Farmstand is a non profit organization that is fully staffed by volunteers. We offer the freshest vegetables grown by our dedicated volunteers and from local farms. Profits are donated to the Foxborough Discretionary Fund. We hope you will join us in the s

According to Town Historian Jack Authelet, the spot which the farmstand and garden are on is rich in Foxboro agricultural history. In 1914, the Foxborough State Hospital was opened and shortly thereafter a working farm was started at the Walnut Street location to produce fresh vegetables and dairy products for the hospital. Patients would be driven down to the farm each morning to go to work. The farm produced a large amount of food for the Foxborough State Hospital. There were cows on the farm and this helped produce milk products for the hospital. The garden was a great source of fresh food at a reduced cost for the state; in fact, during a "good season" the state would actually process and can some of the vegetables from the garden and offer them for sale under the state hospital label. The patients found it very enjoyable to work on the farm and in the garden. It also proved to be good therapy. Now, a century later, the farmstand and garden still brings people to work together for the common good of helping our neighbors. The farmstand and garden is completely staffed by volunteers of all ages from the community. The success depends on the support of volunteers and volunteers are needed at this time. FRESH PICKED VEGGIES ON THE PORCH

Here’s what we picked today:

*please note, we will not be restocking this afternoon as the garden is not producing as much veggies now that we are at the end of our growing season.

Little bit of construction nearby however you can still access our parking lot.

A few zucchini and summer squash on the porch along with tomatoes.

PORCH IS STOCKED!

We hope you have a wonderful day and get a chance to enjoy the sunshine!

We filled the porch with summer squash, some zucchini, tomatoes, and green beans (which are in the fridge).

We’ll restock the veggies tomorrow morning. We’re planning to bring some of our fresh vegetables to Evie’s place at the Community Center tomorrow—keep an eye out! 😊

We welcome partial availability, families, and children 12 and older to volunteer on their own.

This is one of the last opportunities for teens who need service hours with us.

The red barn’s porch is bursting with produce thanks to a fantastic group of volunteers. We’ve also donated to the Foxboro Food Pantry 💙💛.

Don’t let this gray day bring you down! Our fresh-picked vegetables are just what you need to brighten things up.

We’ve got zucchini, summer squash, tomatoes, and cucumbers ready to go.

Green beans will be back on Tuesday.

Our fresh vegetables would go perfectly with some of Joe's Butcher & Bay delicious meats and seafood. Don’t let a little rain scare you away from grilling!
