EricsHouse is a non-profit dedicated to advancing the art and science of grief support for those suffering from su***de loss and in particular addiction-related su***de. Our vision is that no person who is bereaved by su***de or substance abuse will suffer these devastating losses alone. We walk alongside our clients with understanding, compassion, and encouragement. My son, Eric James, struggled

with addiction to medically prescribed opiates. Eric had many months of sobriety, but on December 31st of 2015 he relapsed. The shame and disappointment he carried in his heart created a moment when he made the choice to end his life on February 27th, 2016, at the young age of 27. This sacred weekend offers a compassionate space for parents who have lost a child from any cause, no matter how long ago. Guided by fellow grieving parents, you’ll be surrounded by others who truly understand, with space to reflect, ask hard questions, and find moments of peace and connection.

• Strengthening leadership to grow programs sustainably
• Reaching twice as many bereaved individuals with compassionate care
• Launching new healing programs for teens, young adults, and our community
