🌎💚 Happy Earth Day from Sonoran Conservancy of Fountain Hills! 💚🌎

Today we celebrate the beauty of our desert home and the importance of protecting the natural spaces that make our community so special. As an all-volunteer nonprofit, we are proud to preserve and promote the Fountain Hills McDowell Mountain Preserve, Fountain Hills Desert Botanical Garden, and Lake Overlook Trail for everyone to enjoy.

Through free recreational and educational opportunities, we help connect our community with the beauty, wonder, and value of these treasured open spaces.

This comprehensive, leisurely walk includes frequent stops to explore desert geology, plants, birds, and wildlife in an intimate garden setting.

Looking for a deeper way to experience the Sonoran Desert? Join us Monday, March 10 (8:30–11:30 AM) for Walk with a Naturalist in the Fountain Hills McDowell Mountain Preserve.
This leisurely paced, approximately 2-mile walk features frequent stops to explore geology, soil types, birds, wildflowers, and desert ecology.
