Happy Holidays from all of us at Staves of Honor!

Today, we especially want to thank everyone who won’t be home for the holiday. The military members standing watch, the first responders working the shift, and all those holding the line while others gather around the table. We know the holiday doesn’t pause the mission. Time with family gets delayed. Traditions get shifted and sacrifices are made quietly.

Please know this: you are seen, you are appreciated, and you are not forgotten.

From our SOH family to yours, we wish you a safe, peaceful holiday season. Whether you’re on duty or waiting for your turn to celebrate, we hope you feel the gratitude behind every “Happy Holidays” you hear.

Mark your calendars for a very special event!

Big Chief from our favorite podcast, The Whiskey Trip, is hosting our first "official" Whiskey Social for Veterans Day!

Lots in the works! If you are in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area, you need to mark your calendars for this event! It is still growing, and Michael James Hiatt is doing some great work to get partners on board!

It all supports a great cause! Definitely more information coming, but it will be at The Rackhouse in the Colony, Texas.

Today we picked up something truly special courtesy of Pour Decisions Rickhouse— the first-ever single barrel release from Staves of Honor: Final Ryde.

Pouring this tonight wasn’t just about enjoying a great whiskey. It was a moment of reflection, pride, and purpose. This bottle represents months of hard work, a mission that matters, and a community of veterans and supporters coming together around something meaningful.

This is more than just a pour. It’s a statement — that we can honor service, build brotherhood, and create impact one barrel at a time.

We’ve got something special in the works…

Today, we had the chance to try something special from The Whiskey Blendery—and let’s just say, it stopped us in our tracks. Bold, complex, and absolutely unforgettable. Tim even said, “I don’t know how it could get any better.” 👀

Details are still under wraps, but we can officially say this will be the first-ever bottle release for Staves of Honor—and it’s going to set the tone for everything to come.

Tonight, we held the very first official board meeting for Staves of Honor and finalized all the (let’s be honest—kind of boring) legal and organizational stuff to make sure we’re set up the right way.

This might look like just some paperwork and a pour of whiskey—but it represents months of vision, planning, and the beginning of something much bigger: a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans through community, mentorship, and shared purpose.

We’re proud to say we’re one big step closer to being fully operational. We’re building something meaningful brick by brick, stave by stave—and we’re just getting started. 🇺🇸

Today we raise a glass to the fathers who wore the uniform and the fathers who stood behind those who did. Your legacy of service, sacrifice, and honor is what inspires everything we do at Staves of Honor.

Today is more than the unofficial start of summer or a day for barbecues. It’s a day of remembrance. A day to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation — heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we might live in freedom.

At Staves of Honor, we take time on this day to pause, reflect, and raise a glass to those who never came home. Their names may not all be known to us, but their legacy lives on in every liberty we enjoy and in the hearts of those who served beside them.

If you carry the memory of a fallen brother or sister, we invite you to share their name in the comments. Let’s remember them together — not just today, but always.

Gone but never forgotten.
