The agenda for the August 2026 meeting has been emailed.

We have an exciting lineup of guest speakers for our August 12, 2026 meeting:

D.J. Harrell and Francisco Vega from the City of Fort Worth Development Services will discuss the development overlays affecting Uptown Fort Worth, including the Downtown Overlay. They will explain what these overlays mean for residents, existing properties, and future development, and there will be time for questions and discussion.

Joel McElhany, Eric Lopez, and the Parks & Recreation Community Development Division team will provide information about the City's process for planning and funding future community centers. Their presentation follows our neighborhood's continued advocacy for a community center at the former Nash Elementary School site. We encourage you to attend and share your thoughts and ideas.

As always, we have invited our Neighborhood Police Officer (NPO), the City Council District 9 representative, and our Code Compliance Officer to attend. We appreciate their ongoing partnership and commitment to addressing neighborhood concerns and supporting our community.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Until then, enjoy the rest of your summer with your family, friends, and neighbors!

Dear Uptown Fort Worth Residents,

The preliminary agenda for our upcoming meeting on June 3, 2026, as well as the meeting minutes from May 2026 have been sent for your review to your emails provided.

At this time, we are scheduled to have Matt Beard with Fort Worth Inc. provide additional information regarding PID14, following the community vote held at our April 2026 meeting. We encourage residents to bring any questions they may have about PID14, as a community vote will be held to determine whether the residents should move forward with filing a petition to join PID14.

In addition, we are currently awaiting a response from the Parks Department as we continue exploring options for a community center to serve Uptown Fort Worth residents.

As a reminder, the street improvement project is expected to begin soon on the Hampton Street side of Uptown. Please take time to familiarize yourself with the project plans. Mr. Christian Cardona, lead engineer, presented information during our May 2026 meeting, and an additional public meeting was held on May 13.

Please invite your neighbors to attend. We look forward to seeing you on June 3, 2026, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at 1105 E. Peach Street.
