We invite you to join us for our first mandatory Prospective Member Meeting:

🌟 What You Can Expect to Learn

During this meeting, we will walk through everything you need to know to determine if YMSL is the right fit for you and your son, including:
• What YMSL is and our mission of service, leadership, and mother/son connection
• How our Haslet Chapter operates and what makes it special
• Membership expectations and requirements, including:
• Meeting attendance
• Philanthropy service hours
• Committee/job commitments
• Financial obligations
• What your son will gain, including leadership development, responsibility, and real-world service experience
• What moms gain, including community, purpose-driven involvement, and meaningful time serving alongside your son
• Important dates, timelines, and capacity limits for each graduating class
• An overview of the selection process, including how Letters of Intent and enrollment work

Attendance will be taken, and we will review the Prospective Member packet and slide deck during the meeting.

⚠️ Attendance is required. You must attend one of the two Prospective Member Meetings being offered to be considered for membership.

📝 Next Steps After the Meeting

Following the meeting, all attendees will receive:
• The full slide deck and Prospective Member materials
• Time to review and discuss the commitment as a family
• A Letter of Intent (LOI) to complete if you decide to move forward

Letters of Intent will be due by the end of February.
Once LOIs are submitted and reviewed, enrollment will begin on March 1st.

🌧️ Weather Update for Sunday’s Prospective Member Meeting 🌧️

We are closely watching the weather as we approach Sunday and want to make sure everyone stays safe. Please keep an eye on this page, the Facebook event, and be sure to complete the Prospective Member form below — this is how I will communicate any updates regarding the meeting.

If the weather is looking poor, as early as Saturday, we will update the meeting to be held via Zoom. While I would absolutely love to meet you all in person, safety always comes first.

The Prospective Member form provides me with your contact information so I can reach out to you directly if there are any changes.

✨ Important reminder: Attendance at 1 of the 2 Prospective Member Meetings is required to be considered for membership in the 2026–2027 YMSL year.
