The kittens are still fighting.

The fact that this little girl still has some sass left in her is actually a good sign. She's still telling us she has some fight in her. But please don't mistake that for being out of danger. She is far from safe.

Panleukopenia is absolutely devastating. It steals kittens quickly and cruelly, often before they ever get a chance to experience what life can be.

These babies didn't deserve to be born only to suffer.

This is why we talk so much about spay and neuter. Not because it's convenient. Not because it's easy. But because it prevents tragedies like this. Every unwanted litter increases the number of kittens at risk of disease, starvation, injury, and death.

This little girl is lucky. She is hospitalized. She has doctors, medications, and people fighting for her.

Most kittens with panleuk don't get that chance. They suffer alone on the streets, cold, hungry, scared, and unseen.

Tonight, we're hoping this fighter can beat the odds.

Please keep these babies in your thoughts. They need every bit of luck, love, prayer, and positive energy they can get. 🐾❤️

🚨 EMERGENCY 🚨

We need your prayers, good vibes, and support.

Five 8-week-old kittens we rescued from the shelter last week have tested positive for panleukopenia. We rushed them to the hospital first thing this morning, and they are now fighting for their lives.

One little girl in particular is critically ill, and our hearts are breaking as we do everything possible to save her.

These kittens had received TWO vaccines and still became sick. This is exactly why quarantine protocols are so important. Panleuk is ruthless, highly contagious, and can strike even when you've done everything right.

The road ahead is going to be difficult and expensive, but we believe these babies are worth fighting for.

They are fighting to live.
We are fighting for them.

Dolly is a petite, solid white beauty with a calm, gentle presence and a heart full of love. She is deaf, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit—in fact, she’s perfectly content living her best life, taking everything in stride.

This sweet girl is incredibly laid back and independent, happy to do her own thing most of the time. But when she’s ready for affection, she’ll come find you and curl up in your lap for the coziest cuddles. She’s also an expert biscuit maker, happily kneading away while she soaks up love and attention.
