Some things are just better in person. At the 50th Annual NASW-TX Conference, you’ll be surrounded by social workers from across Texas and beyond who understand the work you do, the challenges you face, and why this profession matters. Our conference brings together one of the largest gatherings of social workers in the country. That means plenty of opportunities to meet someone new, reconnect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and find your people. Sometimes the most valuable thing you take home from conference isn’t something you’ve learned, it’s a connection you’ve made! Join us November 5–7 in Galveston. The National Association of Social Workers–Texas (NASW-TX) is leading efforts to explore the need to develop a Spanish-language Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) examination. As part of this work, NASW-TX is seeking input from social workers across the United States to better understand the landscape of Spanish-language social work practice. We encourage all social workers, educators, supervisors, and students to participate and share the survey with their professional networks. Your feedback will help ensure that future decisions are informed by the experiences and perspectives of the social work community nationwide.
The survey is available in English and Spanish and we ask that all responses be submitted by September 30.
