Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance is a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue in the Fort Worth, TX area. We are a 100% volunteer run organization.

We strive to focus on the shelter pets that are the least likely to leave through adoptions at shelters. We primarily take in medical, seniors & hospice, moms and puppies (or pregnant). As a nonprofit we feel this should be the area we dedicate our organization to as we can ask for public funding and apply for grants. Once medical needs are met, the pet goes up for adoption. There are some we know will never leave our organization and they stay in our hospice program, receiving all care needed until there time with us comes to an end. We work on awareness in our community, consisting of basic care, resources for citizens to help keep their pets in their homes and heartworm awareness. We are hoping in the near future we can help our community even more with the overpopulation of pets.

Meet Leo!

Leo is a 13-year-old, 12-pound sensitive soul who is looking for a quiet place to call home. Loud noises aren't really his thing, and he's happiest when he's close to his person. He also enjoys hanging out with other dogs his size and is a great little companion.

Don't let his small size fool you—when Leo sees a big dog, he'll put on his bravest face and let out his "big" bark! Luckily, he's not a yapper.

Leo is house and crate trained and walks nicely on a leash. He does occasionally mark inside, but he's perfectly comfortable wearing a belly band.

If you're looking for a sweet senior who would love nothing more than to be your little shadow, Leo may be the one for you.

Adopt Princeton!

At 13 years old, Princeton has mastered the art of being a loyal, loving companion. He absolutely loves his people and always wants to be close by. He may fuss for a minute when his people leave the house, but he settles down quickly.

Princeton is house trained and crate trained, making him an easy addition to his forever home. He recently had a dental and is now down to just seven teeth, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying life.

He doesn't really interact with other dogs at his age, but he's perfectly happy to peacefully co-exist with dogs of any size.
