When I founded 100 Women in 2016, it was because I wanted to feel like I was able to make a real difference for those in need in Fort Worth but felt powerless and small by myself. Many of you are like me, so I know that as we have watched the government shutdown and subsequent risk to the food benefits for children and vulnerable folks in our city you have wanted to DO SOMETHING but feel overwhelmed and insignificant alone. So, while it’s not our normal process - we’re going to do something, together. - Leslie
