Just a few more hours to help us reach our fundraising goal…

Barbara came to us as a bottle baby. She contracted panleuk even though she was vaccinated. While being hospitalized, we discovered she was diabetic. All the dominoes fell into place and everything started to make sense-

Her size, her lack of energy, and her immune system, but with every obstacle thrown at her, Barbara had a fire in her to live. This little 8 month old may be the size of a typical 2 month old, but she’s got s***k and a will to live like no other💙

While we navigate her diabetes, her care is quite expensive. Not just her meds, but her frequent vet visits are draining the pond.

We have a few short hours left to raise the last $1,000. Can we do it?

A kitten was abandoned in a box with a half empty canister of formula, a litter scoop, a small baggie of kitten food, and two small cardboard litter boxes….at a liquor store. 🙃

🎉Everyone meet Spec’s🎉

While we might not be certain of his origin story, he is a happy, healthy little guy. Meaning someone loved him for the first part of his tiny little life🥺

Today is the last day of North Texas Gives to Animals, and just like Spec’s we have been shown some extensive love during this campaign🫶 We cannot begin to thank you guys enough for helping us push forward through kitten season.

This time of year is emotionally draining, mentally exhausting, heartbreaking, and hopeful all at once. We see so much suffering and yet so many uplifting stories everyday. It’s an emotional roller coaster. Thank you for staying with us these last two weeks and showing support 💙

We have about 24 hrs left to reach our fundraising goal for North Texas Gives to Animals 😱

Below are a few of the cats that needed to see the vet just this week. This doesn’t include the spay/neuter surgeries that also took place this week.

We are a non profit operated by volunteers, and we run solely on donations. We believe cats are NOT a dime a dozen. Every cat has a personality and a story to tell. We just have to listen🥰

Maybe not today, but one day…

As we wake up to the news that there is no news, we do have some news of our own 🤭

With one full day left to reach our fundraising goal, we are $1,275 away 🎉 While that is still quite a large amount, I honestly never thought we would make it this far 😭💙😭💙

Her litter will all start with the letter P. Wait until you see Poptart😱🥰

Pickles has been an amazing mom these last six weeks. I couldn’t be prouder. She obviously is enjoying the princess life of soft beds and air conditioning. There is no way this little lady will be going back outside🙅‍♀️

While we ALWAYS advocate for spay/aborts, Pickles is a rare example of life throwing you lemons and a beautiful glass of top notch lemonade emerging.

One spay turned into four spays and two neuters. Cha-ching 💰💵 We could use a little help with that big beautiful bill 😉 Donation link in the comments below 👇

We have come so far these last two weeks! We have raised $4,595 for our mission🥳

But….we aren’t done yet. We have just a few short days left to reach our goal. With $1,405 left to go, we have a challenge ahead of us 😬

North Texas Gives to Animals is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. This event helps us pay down medical debt and prepare for upcoming neuters for the MANY kittens we have collected so far this kitten season🫣
