This May Day, Join DSA Fort Worth, Denton Student Union, Panther City Anarchist Organization, Peoples Defense Denton, Sunrise Tarrant, Sunrise Dallas, and DFW Support Committee on April 30th at Emily Fowler Library at 6:00 PM in Denton and on May 1st at All Peoples Church at 5:00 PM in Fort Worth.

Join workers, students, and families across the nation as we collectively organize together and demand a world that puts workers over billionaires and our lives over profit. We Demand ICE OUT of our Cities! We demand NO WAR. We demand the ability to organize collectively in our workplaces without fear of retaliation. We demand more than an increase in wages and instead the obliteration of wage labor all together. We demand an end to capitalism. And we demand it now!

Our May Day event will be hosted at All Peoples Church UU - 1959 Sandy Ln, Fort Worth, TX 76112 - this Friday, May 1st from 5:00 - 7:30 PM.

DSA Fort Worth Screens ‘UNON’ - Movie Night (and Open Discussion!)🍿

What does it really take to organize your workplace? A group of Amazon workers decided to find out, and they ended up making history as the first Amazon workers to win union recognition from the federal government.

Join DSA Fort Worth as we watch Union, the story of everyday workers standing together to fight for dignity and power on the job.

Stay for snacks and refreshments and an open-discussion about what we must do to organize our own workplaces too.

📢 Are you employed? Have kids? A student? Do you cook, clean, rent your home? If you answered yes to any of the above, your labor has probably been exploited, and your workplace and neighborhood probably isn’t organized.

This May Day, we want to hear from workers and tenants first. What issues are hitting you, your family, and your coworkers the hardest? How do we fight back through collective action?

Come find out at Burk Burnett Park on Friday, May 1st from 5–7:30 PM. Get plugged into local organizations fighting for your rights so that you can champion justice too, write letters for the Prairieland Defendants, play card games, make zines, and just hang out.
