We are a branch of the SCA located in the Fort Worth, Texas area. We are medieval reenactors.

We are getting together for Elfsea Inventory Day this coming Saturday and would love your help.

We will be counting and organizing baronial gear and spending some time together while we do it. Come for an hour or stay longer, every bit of help is appreciated.

Elfsea, prepare yourselves for some seasonal mischief at our December 11, 2025 holiday party!

We will be hosting an informal Awkward Family Photoshoot for anyone brave enough to pose.

Come in your finest garb, your comfy garb, or your fittest mundane drip! Bring your friends, your household, your guild, your favorite rival, or any mischief-making respectable cohort of your choosing to lean into the chaos that is - SCA style!

As winter returns to Elfsea, we invite you to gather with us for a cozy holiday evening filled with friendly faces, shared dishes, and the kind of warmth that only comes from friends gathering at the end of a long year.

On Thursday, December 11, at 7:00 p.m., we will set aside fighter practice and enjoy a relaxed potluck together, with a small court during the night.

Wear your favorite winter garb if it brings you joy, or come as you are. What matters most is being together!

Known Issue: AI Chatbot

Facebook recently launched an AI "Group Expert" bot.

I turned off the AI bot the day this feature released. Facebook automagically turned the bot back on today. It seems the AI bot "wants" to be "on."

I have heard from the Society SMO and other groups that despite turning off all AI features, other groups are experiencing the same problem.

Please be patient as we work to resolve this issue. If you notice the AI bot post, feel free to report the post as spam.

Hopefully if enough people report it as spam Facebook will get the message that we don't want AI bots in our group.

Please join us in welcoming Don Alric Godwynson as Elfsea’s new Nautilus Pursuivant.

Many in Elfsea already know Don Alric as a familiar and steady voice in court. Now, he brings that same experience and care to his first term as our baronial herald. The Nautilus Pursuivant helps Elfsea share its voice by guiding names, devices, and the pageantry that make our Barony shine.

We are thankful for his service and look forward to seeing how his voice will help tell Elfsea’s story in the months ahead.

The Chronicler: Keeper of Our Elfsea Memories
