One of the best things about training at Flux is that Coach Kyle truly encourages us to get out there and take the big matches. Even the ones we all know are a bit of a Hail Mary.

He doesn’t just send us out there either. He gives real guidance on how to approach the venue, the match, the win, and sometimes the loss.

Cheers to staying a little wild and traveling wherever the wind blows, all in the effort to get more ladies on the mats.

There’s not much that can beat a great gym. It’s a space where we celebrate each other’s wins and help sharpen each other through the losses.

Competing is such a wild mix of emotions. It is exciting, it is exhausting, and it has a way of revealing both the best parts of your game and the areas that still need work.

But when you have a built in hype team behind you, it becomes something even better. It becomes fun, it becomes meaningful, and it becomes a moment you get to share with people who truly care.
