My 10th and final thankful post for the day.

I wonder if you got tired of seeing these posts today. I thought I might get tired of making these posts today. But that was the experiment for myself, and maybe some of you…to pay attention to the blessings around me all day.

How many times do we run through another day, doing the tasks we’ve done a thousand times before, driving to and from work, having lunch with a family member or friend, seeing something beautiful, enjoying another cup of coffee…all without realizing all the things we have to be thankful for? We fall into bed at night and we made it through the day…only to get up and do it again.

We can choose to see the blessings around us, big and small, and then pause for a moment to tell God…Thank You!

We made it! 11.5 hours after leaving home, we made it. No accidents, no close calls, no issues…praise God for your protection! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I’m thankful for the angels He dispatches to go before us, behind us and all around us.

He keeps us FROM trouble, or He keeps us THROUGH trouble. Either way, He keeps us! ❤️

Aspens. Colors changing in the fall. It always reminds me that everything in life is a season. Some seasons we flourish, some we grow, some seasons we allow things in us to die, some seasons new dreams emerge. One thing I know, God is faithful in every season. God can redeem every season if we stay surrendered and pliable in His hands.

I’m thankful to be in Colorado for the next few days. Yes, it’s beautiful. Yes, it’s cooler than Texas. But those aren’t the reasons I’m thankful.

I’m thankful to be speaking at two ladies events, three churches on Sundays, and conducting an Abide Retreat for a group of military wives/women. I’m SO thankful for each of these amazing opportunities to preach the good news of Jesus!

I’m thankful for a husband who watches out for bumps in the road, and warns me when they are coming, so I can paint my nails in the car.
