We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at Noon each month at River Crest Country Club. Our projects range from local outreach programs to global humanitarian efforts. We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday at River Crest Country Club from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. Our club is active in a variety of local and international service projects ranging from a Flag Program to clean water in Honduras. Please join us for lunch!

🎉 Celebrating a New Rotary Year! 🎉

The Fort Worth South Rotary Club is excited to welcome a new year of service as we officially installed our 2026–2027 Board of Directors and President, Monique Cabano and welcomed one of our newest members, Jason Johnston.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our outgoing President, Charleen Goldston, for an outstanding year of leadership. Charleen’s dedication, passion, and commitment to Service Above Self have made a lasting impact on our club and the community we serve. Thank you for an incredible year!

Congratulations to President Monique Cabano and the newly installed Board of Directors! Together, we look forward to building on our club’s strong tradition of fellowship, service, and leadership while continuing to make a difference both locally and around the world.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and fellow Rotarian, Carrie Harrington.

Carrie leaves behind an incredible legacy of service and leadership within Fort Worth South Rotary. In 2008, she made history as one of our club’s first female presidents, paving the way for future generations of leaders. She was a passionate advocate for youth, dedicating countless hours to supporting RYLA and inspiring young leaders. Carrie also faithfully served on our Community Grants Committee year after year, helping direct resources to organizations that strengthen our community.

Carrie truly embodied Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self. Her kindness, leadership, and unwavering commitment to making a difference touched our club and our community in countless ways.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Carrie’s family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her. We are grateful for the example she set and the legacy she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever a part of the Fort Worth South Rotary family.

Rest in peace, Carrie. Thank you for your service, your friendship, and the lasting impact you made on so many lives. 💙💛

This Memorial Day, the Rotary Club of Fort Worth South pauses in gratitude for those who gave their lives for our nation and for the families who carry their legacy forward.

The Rotary Club of Fort Worth South was proud to award our annual TCU Nursing Student Scholarship to Amanda Mercer!

We were honored to welcome Dr. Suzy Lockwood, Associate Dean for Nursing at TCU, who shared insights about the outstanding nursing program and the incredible work being done to prepare future healthcare leaders.

Club member Mike Peck, president of the club’s foundation, presented the scholarship, which is awarded each year to an exceptional TCU nursing student in memory of past longtime member, Katy Cairns.

Congratulations, Amanda, and best wishes as you continue making a difference through nursing! 💜

This week, the Fort Worth South Rotary Club was proud to honor our Teachers of the Year! 🍎✨

Each of these incredible educators is making a lasting impact on their students, and it was inspiring to hear from them and learn more about their passion for education.

Teaching today comes with many challenges, but at the core, our teachers and school leaders continue shaping the future generation through their dedication, leadership, and care for students every day.

Seventy-one years of service, leadership, and impact! 🎉

Today, April 18th, we celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Fort Worth South Rotary Club’s charter—a legacy built on a commitment to Service Above Self and a passion for making a difference in our community.

For over seven decades, this club has brought together leaders, neighbors, and friends to create meaningful change in Fort Worth and beyond. From local service projects to global initiatives, the impact continues to grow year after year.

Here’s to the members—past and present—who have carried this mission forward with dedication and heart. And here’s to many more years of service, fellowship, and positive impact!

This past Saturday, members of the Fort Worth East Rotary and Rotary Club of Fort Worth South rolled up their sleeves for the Cowtown Clean Up at Gateway Park!

While we didn’t capture many photos (we were too busy picking up trash!), it was an incredible morning of service, teamwork, and community pride.

There’s something powerful about coming together with a shared purpose—making Fort Worth a cleaner, more beautiful place for everyone.

We had the privilege of hosting our annual 4-Way Test Speech Competition for this week’s program, featuring three outstanding students from Paschal High School. These young leaders impressed us with their confidence, thoughtfulness, and ability to apply strong ethical principles to real-world topics.

The 4-Way Test, created in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor during a time of business crisis, has since become a guiding framework for ethical decision-making around the world. It asks four simple yet powerful questions:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Each participant demonstrated what it means to lead with integrity, and we are incredibly proud of the way they represented Paschal High School and their community.

Thank you to everyone who supported this event and helped encourage the next generation of ethical leaders. 👏
