It’s finally here!

The CloudDancer Scholarship is now accepting applications for 2026. Applications close 60 days after opening. Selections will be announced no later than October 1, 2026. You can also get involved or make a donation to support our Pilot and Aviation Maintenance Technician training scholarships.

The Ashton Johnson Memorial Scholarship offers training scholarships to U.S. military veterans pursuing careers in aviation. We seek applicants who demonstrate honorable service, strong character, and a clear commitment to earning their Private Pilot or AMT certification.

Pilot Scholarship at $17,500 each:
Upon Selection $5,000
First Solo $5,000
Solo Cross-Country $5,000
Check Ride Complete $2,500

AMT Scholarship at $5,000 each
New for 2026—supporting veterans pursuing Aviation Maintenance Technician certification and careers in technical aviation fields. Through our partnership with the Thrust Institute of Maintenance, AMT recipients who enroll in qualifying programs at Thrust receive an additional $5,000 scholarship, bringing their total award to $10,000.

Crawfish, airplanes, and a whole lot of purpose 🦞✈️

Yesterday’s Crawfish Boil Fly-In was one for the books—an incredible turnout, unforgettable energy, and most importantly, a successful fundraiser supporting our mission. Because of you, we’re able to continue funding scholarships for veterans pursuing careers in aviation after their service 🇺🇸

We couldn’t have done it without our amazing sponsors and vendors:

Watch vintage airplanes arrive throughout the day and explore the museum’s incredible collection up close. With free admission to the museum, guests can step back in time and experience aviation history firsthand.

✨ World-Class Crawfish Boil
Crawfish will be expertly prepared by none other than Gabriel “Gator” Guilbeau of the Yellowstone series. Expect bold Louisiana flavor, piled high and served hot - just the way a proper boil should be!
