Today we celebrate the power of gratitude.
On National Grateful Patient Day, we're honored to recognize the caregivers who go above and beyond for our patients and families. Through Parkview Health Foundation's Guardian Angel Program, grateful patients can express thanks in a meaningful way.
So far in 2026, nearly 100 individuals have been recognized as Guardian Angels, and numerous patients have honored entire care teams and departments for the exceptional care they received.
To every Parkview caregiver: thank you for being the difference in someone's healing journey.

A book is more than a gift. It's an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow.
This National Read a Book Day, we're celebrating Reach Out and Read, a program that empowers providers to talk with parents during well-child visits about the critical role reading plays in a child's development. From birth through age 5, children receive a new book at each well-child visit, creating opportunities for families to build meaningful reading routines at home.
By sharing books and guidance, providers help parents support early literacy, language development, and healthy brain growth during a child's most formative years.
Because of the generosity of Parkview Health Foundation donors, these important conversations, resources, and books are reaching children and families across our region.

Our Francine’s Friends mobile mammography team was thrilled to bring the coach to a resource event hosted in Grant County late last month.

Francine’s Friends partnered with the Affordable Housing & Community Development Corporation to bring breast cancer screening on site, adding to the many services available to attendees. Other organizations included:

Hands of Hope
The Salvation Army USA
Cafe Valley Bakery

Thank you to everyone who attended, and to the organizers for including Francine’s Friends at the event.

“She loved the ladies.”

In just a few words, a family captured the special bond their mother shared with her Parkview Hospice caregivers. Over 3½ years, those visits became a source of comfort, connection and joy. Recently, the family honored Kaz Vogt, RN, Regan Raugh, CNA, Emily Zimmerman, MSW, and Karen Kosberg, Chaplain, through the Guardian Angel program for the lasting impact they made on their mother and family.
