We're proud of all of our volunteers, but every year we recognize a few who really shine. We're proud to announce these individuals as our 2026 Volunteers of the Year!

- James Kvas, for his work in helping find a new client relationship management system
- Deb Stam and Jan Penner, for their leadership in coordinating the creation of cushions and headbands for wheelchair recipients
- Tonya Bulau, for her dedication to assisting at every wheelchair workshop this year.

In Wolaita S**o we distribute 50 wheelchairs 6 pediatric wheelchair !

Thank you to all the volunteers who joined us for the workshop yesterday! We couldn’t do this without each one of you and we appreciate all your hard work! 💪

Together we:
•Decommissioned 40 unusable devices for spare parts.
•Evaluated & Repaired 1 pediatric chair.
•Packed 57 pairs of wheelchair leg hangers, 35 crutches, 25 canes, 146 cushion covers, 41 lap quilts, 17 large quilts, 2 walker caddies, 3 fidget blankets and 1 wheelchair caddie into the shipping container!

Chiro (also known as Asebe Teferi) is a town in eastern Ethiopia. During our distribution in Chiro, Agape Mobility Ethiopia provided 70 wheelchairs to children and adults with disabilities. The wheelchairs restored mobility, independence, and hope to many individuals who had been waiting for this life-changing assistance.
