FAFW Student Ministries exists to lift students through the power of the cross!

This Saturday: For those who haven't heard about this event, it is a chance to have fun while supporting Boomerang Backpacks. This is one of the programs we have helped on community serve day the past couple years. The program sends food home with students from families that could use some support to ensure they have food to eat over the weekend. There is a 1 mile Family Fun Run that cost $5/person followed by a 5K for those who are looking for a challenge ($45 registration fee for that.) This year, in the NACS School system, Boomerang backpacks is already sending nearly 300 bags of food home with students. Last year, it cost $150 to provide food for a student each weekend for one school year.

Youth Convention registration is now open for November 6-7 in Bloomington, Indiana! This year features speaker Eliot Bland and worship with Indiana Youth Collective.

Littles starting Kindergarten!

This Sunday, August 9th, during second service, we will be celebrating our Littles who are starting Kindergarten this year. Drop off: At their usual class in the Littles area.

We will take them for a short preview time in First Kids, then take them back to our area for a party to celebrate the time we have had with them and the next step in their journey.

Pickup: Same room as drop off, but at the door to the right. (Look for the balloons! LOL) Those not going into Kindergarten will be picked up at the door to the left.

Starting on August 16th, our kindergarteners will be officially moved up and go straight to First Kids.

We can't wait to celebrate this milestone with our Littles as they continue growing in the Plan God has for each of them.

We’re getting things ready for this Sunday’s skit and need a few vintage-style props to pull it off:

Metal lunchbox (the older the better)
Old-school white apron
1940s-style women's sunglasses

We are looking for two baby gates for the Littles classes to help us minister more effectively to our growing number of children! 😃 We are so excited about all of the new little faces joining us each week.
