EMS attended 'Education By The Sea,' sponsored by Emergicon, for three days and received CE's in various subjects, from leadership to medical. We encourage other EMS services to attend this conference, as it has always been one of the top conferences we attend.
We thank Emergicon and the EMS Department of Port Aransas for providing education with excellence!

The 17th is the beginning of EMS Week this year, in which we honor all our medics who continue to give their all to take care of your loved ones. They have sacrificed holidays and special events, meals, sleep, and much more. They respond without hesitation and are there when they are needed most. Several times, it may be just to talk to someone who has called 911 in the middle of the night because they are lonely. They hold the hands of the sick and dying, celebrate life being brought into this world, and even cry and break down when they have lost a patient. In honor of all our EMS brothers and sisters, we celebrate you and all that you continue to do to serve others.

Our team members pictured here assisted in distributing food today with the West Texas Food Distribution. This is something our service has been doing for a couple of years now. Every 2nd Thursday of each month, the truck comes and they are there. We appreciate them very much and are grateful for our service having wonderful medics who serve the community not only in the hard times but during times such as this. * Thank you A Shift*

We do our best to keep our medics in shape to help strengthen their backs .

The rowing movement works several important muscle groups that EMS providers rely on for lifting, transfers, stair chairs, CPR endurance, and injury prevention. Great Job C Shift for completing the 500 meter row!

Just another day on B Shift. Captain R. Meza AEMT, lead his team to do the quarterly 500 meter row.

When CPT R. Meza, AEMT, and a SGT in the Army, asks Administration to join in
“simple stretches” which turns into boot camp, admin is now rethinking life choices. The crew participated, but administration felt the real pain. Thanks, CPT R. Meza, for introducing us to military-style stretches !
