Sergeant's Major Association of Southwest Oklahoma The United 9's - Sergeant's Major Association of Southwest Oklahoma is a private, non-profit organization. Group Rules to our page:

Membership is open to individuals from all branches of the military who were selected to the grade of E9 in their respective services, both from the active and reserve components, to include those of the equivalent grade from our allied and partnered nations. Our efforts focus on supporting the Fort Sill / Lawton military community and families through various philanthropic activities in partnersh

ip with local businesses, and by assisting and directing programs and activities affecting soldiers, civilians, and their families. Be Kind and Courteous

On June 18th CSM(R) Dean Keveles presented a plaque of the NCO Creed and a $50 AAFES Gift Card to the NCO Academy Basic Leader Course Class 26-006 Distinguished Honor Graduate, SPC Angel Tapia Suero, on behalf of the Association, and also presented a Farewell Plaque on behalf of the Sergeants Major Association to the NCO Academy Commandant, CSM Jason Obermuller as he soon departs for a new assignment.

In our 1-hour session we had a guest speaker from Columbia Southern University via Zoom, discussed current and future proposed efforts, such as Bylaws rewrite and Organizational Structure Changes, Wall of Fame, Dog Tag Board, Scholarships, Budget, Cowboy Hat Drawing and Fundraiser, upcoming events, and much more."
