Tonight we were able to hand 3 $1,000 scholarships to deserving students headed to the blue collar world! Thank you so much to everyone who donated or came to our awards night and helped us raise money. This is just the beginning and next year will be much bigger and better! Thank you again!!

I have so many thank yous, I don’t even know where to start! This was an idea and we put it into action and put the whole thing together in a few months. To see the place full of 150+ people, all to raise money for deserving kids was amazing!

I’m so happy to say that with what we raised last night, and a few pledges from local citizens and business owners we will eclipse the $4,000 mark raised by this event! This is going to seriously help kids that want to follow our role and join the trades!

We are already planning next years and I can promise you it will be much bigger and better, so stay tuned!

I know I’m going to miss some people but thank you to everyone that helped make this a reality. It won’t let me tag everyone, so I apologize ahead of time if I can’t tag you or I forgot someone. If you played any part in this from buying auction items, donating auction items, buying a table, just donating monetarily…. I appreciate everything. People really stepped up and made this a great night so THANK YOU!!

We will have an auction tomorrow night for this awesome piece provided by Fort Scott Gun & Pawn! It is paid for out of our pockets so every dime from it will go towards scholarships! So dust off your checkbooks and let’s get you an awesome prize and some deserving students a bigger scholarship!!

We’ve got Fort Scott’s own James Wood mixing up drinks Saturday night! So make sure to give him a HUGE thank you for volunteering his time as a bartender to help us raise money for the scholarships! There will be a cash bar and it’s going to be a great time. Can’t wait to see you guys there! 6:30 at Memorial Hall.

If you’ve asked for a table to be reserved we have it reserved. Please get your table paid for no later then tuesday! You can message me and I can get you the tickets or you can stop by bourbon county cars and pay/pick up your tickets. Also, there will be tickets available at the door if you’d like to come! Cash bar!

We want to raise as much money as possible for the scholarships we are giving to local students! Come join us!!

A few more pieces of information.

- Tickets are being sold at Bourbon County Cars starting today. Please go get them! Or get ahold of Aaron Judy for tickets as well.

- It’s not an event hosted by the city, county, chamber, or anyone else so please don’t think that. Just a couple knuckleheads trying to make it go. 🤷🏻‍♂️

- We haven’t deliberately left anyone out of this. There are TONS of great businesses in town. If we missed one, it was an accident but you are more then welcome to write it in on the voting. That’s why we made that an option.

- We are blue collar dudes, just trying to make a cool event. If you think it’ll be perfect I got some bad news for you! Lol It honestly isn’t about the winning or losing. It’s just about coming together and recognizing EVERYONE in the blue collar world. Everyone helping us raise money for a couple deserving local students!

- We will most likely not be adding anymore categories or companies to the list. We will keep track this year and next year will be bigger and better.

- GO BUY A TABLE! 😁

Just a quick reminder… this whole thing is being organized and handled by volunteers taking their own time to try to make a fun night and give some scholarships to deserving kids. It’s our first year and we are getting a whole lot of messages saying people need on the list… totally fine! We haven’t gotten a lot of messages wanting to buy tickets or tables though….Please have some grace, if you don’t see your name there is a write in box.
