I love Miss Military Star because I love all the friends I have made and those who became family to me. I love the opportunities I get to help our military and our veterans. Most importantly I love how this organization is always there for everyone and they show how much we love each other.

Sorry this is a day late but my favorite military branch is the Marines. The Marines is my favorite branch because my uncle Hank served in the Marines for 25 years and my uncle is my best friend and I look up to him. Happy belated birthday Army.

Day 16: Pageant Bestie

Today’s prompt is especially hard because there are so many people I’ve met in pageantry that are not just friends but family at this point.

Danielle, Maria, Marie, Kathy, and so many more! If I write everyone’s name, we’d be here all day but you all know who you are. As I’m writing this post, I’m thinking of you all ❤️

One shout out is for my best friend Cassie. We met when I started Miss Military Star in 2021 and we had an amazing time together as sister queens. Thank you Cassie for being there for me.

But today, I want to highlight two people that have been my “besties” since we met and they deserve this special shoutout.

I met Molly and Alison in the summer of 2017 at the Miss Spirit of New York pageant. These girls have been some of the most amazing friends I’ve ever had and every chance I get to see them is the best.

The best part of this friendship is that we are always there to support each other’s successes and be there for the hard times. They both have seen me at my highest and my lowest, and they are who I think of when I think of “best friend.”

Getting to have Alison as my Miss New York State is especially such a special part of why I am so happy to be Miss Empire State. These two ladies are wonderful and I feel so blessed to have them as my friends. ❤️

Sorry for this being a day late but they way I prepare for nationals is I review my interview resume and go through it. I also practice my walks and I always tell myself I got this and don’t give up. I recently got my hair done for Nationals. And I get a new headshot done and community services with my title

My favorite memory was back in 2021 when I first started Miss Military Star and I won Miss Military Star New York Miss. I enjoyed every minute of it and I have made some wonderful friends that became family to me. So happy I became part of this amazing organization.

Day 21: What is your favorite Required Competition?

My favorite required competition is Americana Wear. I love that this competition allows you to use your creativity and showcase something you find interesting or inspiring.

In 2021 & 2023 I dressed up as a soldier for my American Wear and I liked it. Last year I worked a red dress with a white skirt with blue stars.

This year, I went with something similar but a little different, but I can't wait to show it off during Nationals week.
