Happy Friday!! While you are getting ready for the weekend, we want to remind you of the work happening where the pavement ends. David goes deep into the woods to do the heavy day-to-day outreach that goes unseen. It’s a harsh reality whatever you think it’s like out there, it’s 50 to 100 times worse.
We cannot fund these essential items to our homeless neighbors and veterans without our thrift store shoppers and donors. It takes the whole community to make this possible!

We are kicking off our week today and we want to invite the whole neighborhood out. The summer is here!! Whether you have kids or not, come on in and explore the aisles there is something for everyone!

Summertime is officially here, which means foot traffic slows down a little bit for small shops like ours. We need our community to rally around us right now!

Right now, our message is not getting across to everyone donating to our store, and we need to draw a hard line. Receiving donations in horrible condition is unacceptable and unfair to our team.

🛑 NO PET HAIR. PERIOD. 🛑

I cannot stress this enough: We have volunteers who are highly allergic. For their health and safety, we cannot and will not accept clothing with pet hair.

If you bring items covered in pet hair, they will go straight into the trash. Please remember that real people volunteers who do not get paid have to sort through what you drop off. Please be respectful, check your items before you leave the house, and help us keep our environment safe and sanitary for everyone. Thank you.
