About Us
Welcome to The Green Rooster, a curated collection born from decades of shared adventures, major life transitions, and a mutual love for the hunt.
As two longtime friends who have navigated life’s ups and downs side-by-side, our bond ultimately led us down the aisles of thrift stores, estate sales, and flea markets. Along the way, we fell deeply in love with thrifting—collecting treasures until our own homes could simply hold no more. Realizing it was time to share our finds with fellow vintage lovers, the idea for our shop was born.
Our Philosophy
We believe in the beauty of giving things a second life. At The Green Rooster, we love to repurpose, reimagine, and recycle, always envisioning the potential in every piece we source. Whether it is shabby chic, farmhouse, rustic, or early junk, we are drawn to items with character and history.
How We Got Our Name
Naming a business is harder than it looks! We spent countless hours brainstorming, but none of the traditional titles felt quite right. Then, on a recent sourcing trip, we locked eyes with a rustic green, floral, moss rooster. Inspiration struck, and The Green Rooster was officially hatched.
We hope you enjoy our recycled bargains and repurposed treasures as much as we love finding and styling them for you! See less

Focus on Me – Be Encouraged
Focus your eyes on Me. What you see deposits within your soul and imprints in your mind. What you see yourself entering will enter into you. See Me, and I will make deposits within you. My deposits always increase and multiply. Keep your eyes fixed and focused on Me and look not to your own understanding. Do not focus on the circumstances you see swirling around you.

Made Known – Be Encouraged
I reached out to you with My mighty right arm and lifted you to a place where your feet are secure. I have established your footsteps on My firm foundation. Jesus Christ is the only foundation that is firm, solid, and conducive to and for your destiny. I am making Myself known in you, and I will make Myself known through you. You will cause others to see Me reaching out to them.

Divine Rescue – Be Encouraged
I have reached out to you and rescued you. I am the one who sent My Son, and I sent My army after you. I found your soul in the midst of your pain and wounding. I, by the power of My Spirit, drew your spirit to Me. I gave you the grace and the mercy to be able to respond to Me. I have drawn you out of darkness into My light. You are flourishing, you are thriving, and you are coming to a place of maturity in Me.

Every Seed – Be Encouraged
My word and My promises to you are like seeds. Different seeds sprout in different conditions and in different seasons. Some take longer than others. They all require the warmth that comes from My love. They also require the water of life that will give them sustaining faith to not dry up and wither away. When My seed sprouts and begins to grow, it produces branches. The branches come into your life in the season I have for you to reach out to others.
