Midwest Food Bank was honored to participate in the Greater Fort Myers Chamber Nonprofit Luncheon this week, connecting with community leaders and sharing our mission of feeding people and fighting hunger.

A special thank you to our Development Manager, Holly Taylor, and Board Member Lourdes Bautista of Regions Bank for representing Midwest Food Bank and helping spread awareness of the impact we can make together.

Today, Midwest Food Bank was grateful to be out in the community for our monthly distribution, working alongside our incredible partner agencies to help ensure food reaches families throughout Southwest Florida.

These distributions are only possible because of the dedication of our volunteers today from Immokalee High School and Collier County Public Schools, partners, donors, and agencies who serve on the front lines every day. Thank you for helping us extend hope, nourishment, and support to our neighbors in need.

Yesterday’s loadout was a great reminder of what can happen when communities work together. 💙

More than 65,000 pounds of food were distributed to 36 partner agencies, helping extend hope and nourishment to families across Southwest Florida and beyond.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers, partner agencies, donors, and supporters who make this mission possible. Together, we are sharing food, changing lives, and serving those in need.

Midwest Food Bank welcomes volunteers Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, and no reservation is needed for individuals or small groups.

Through food rescue efforts, strong partnerships, and the dedication of thousands of volunteers, we're able to distribute more food to more families while keeping costs low.
