After that day at the park, I knew I wanted to help other kids have Bibles of their own.

But I was only 9 years old. ๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ˆ ๐๐จ?

Then my mom's friend gave me an idea:
โ€œ๐–๐ก๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฆ๐š๐ค๐ž ๐›๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ ๐ญ๐จ ๐›๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ?โ€

I loved making bracelets. And suddenly, something I loved to do could have a much bigger purpose.

So I started making them.
Not to start a business or because I had some big plan.

And thatโ€™s how ๐๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ began. โค๏ธ

There have been lots of exciting things happening lately. ๐ˆ ๐ ๐จ๐ญ ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ! Iโ€™ve been making bracelets for my volleyball team, and I have another conference coming up in September where Iโ€™ll get to share Bracelets for Bibles.

But Iโ€™m still trying to finish the goal that started all of this.

One of America's greatest blessings is the freedom to own and read God's Word.

As our country celebrates ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฌ ๐š๐ฌ ๐š ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, we're reminded that many children around the world are still waiting to hold a Bible of their own.

With a new school year just around the corner, Rebekah wanted to create something a little extra special.

I didn't want to miss that opportunity again.

So my mom and I bought our very first case of ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ง'๐ฌ ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก ๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ.

Before long, it just became normal for us to have Bibles in the car.

If we were going to the park... the Bibles came with us.

If we were running errands... the Bibles came with us.

If we were traveling... the Bibles came with us.

Wherever we went, we wanted to be ready in case God gave us the chance to share one.

Over time, we were able to give Bibles to children and families we met, share them at community outreaches, and even provide Bibles to friends who were hosting festivals so they could give them away too.

Every time we gave away a Bible, it reminded me that God's Word is one of the greatest gifts you can give someone.

But after a while, we realized something...

One case of Bibles wasn't going to be enough.

Looking back now, I can see that God was already writing the next chapter of the story... even though I had no idea what it would be.

I wanted to share a little update...

We ended the conference with ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ’ ๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ toward my goal of providing ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐”๐ ๐š๐ง๐๐š! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ“–

One of the coolest parts of the weekend was that every time someone decided to provide a Bible, they got to place a heart on my mission board.

Watching the board fill up with hearts all weekend was honestly my favorite part. It was so exciting because every heart represents a Bible that will soon be in the hands of a student in Uganda.

When we packed up and looked at the board one last time, there were ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ’ ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ.

That means we're only ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” ๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ from reaching this goal!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth, listened to my story, prayed for me, encouraged me, placed a heart on the board, or helped provide a Bible. It was also so encouraging to hear that some of you saw my posts on Facebook and donated online. Knowing people were following my journey and supporting this missionโ€”even from homeโ€”means so much to me.

I can't wait to see how God provides the last ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” ๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ. I'll keep you posted!

โค๏ธ A little update from Momโ€ฆ

What an incredible weekend. My heart is so full.

Weโ€™re home now and have quite a bit to doโ€”unpacking, organizing, and sending photos of the bracelets to everyone who asked about them at the conference. If you requested pictures, thank you so much! Please be patient with us as we get everything together over the next couple of days.

Today, though, weโ€™re slowing down.

After three wonderful (and very full!) days, weโ€™re taking the rest of today to rest, recharge, and thank God for everything He did this weekend.

As for how Rebekah didโ€ฆ Iโ€™ll let her be the one to tell you. โค๏ธ She canโ€™t wait to share how many Bibles are now on her mission board and what God did throughout the conference.
