Thank you to “Crazy Jimmy” for assisting me these past two days to save money from hiring a pro. In the last two days we buried 250’ low voltage wire that will illuminate our mural that starts on Monday. We spread 30 bags of gravel, ran 100 ft of edging and 100 sq ft of sod. Lastly we leveled the marble walkway and added new Chain. It was a brutal two days of work but in the next couple of weeks we will have one of the best looking posts in the state!

Mural Update and Vote:
Our artist has suggested adding a silhouette of a military working dog alongside the soldier in the mural, believing it would enhance the overall design and meaning of the artwork.
Military working dogs play a vital role in supporting active-duty personnel by detecting explosives, assisting in security operations, and protecting our troops. After service, many veterans benefit from service dogs that help them cope with the lasting effects of combat, including stress and PTSD.
While the mural committee and artist were given the authority to make adjustments to the final design as needed, we felt that this proposed addition was significant enough that it should be decided by our members and community.
Please vote YES if you would like the dog added to the mural, or NO if you prefer the original design without the dog.
Voting will end on Wednesday, October 14, at 8:00 PM.
You may vote:
In person at the Post (See voting bucket near the tee shirt display)
On either of our two pages by commenting simply "Yes" or "No"
Thank you for your participation and support as we work to create a mural that honors both our veterans and those who continue to serve.
