Join our Rapid Response Circle. 💙

The Rapid Response Circle is our FREE community of people who are willing to help us fulfill support requests from single moms when they’re able to.

And helping doesn’t always mean giving money or paying someone’s bill.

Sometimes a mom needs diapers. Sometimes she needs clothing for her children. Sometimes she needs toiletries or household necessities. Sometimes there may simply be something on her request that you already have or would be willing to purchase for her.

That’s where our Circle comes in.

When we receive a request that we could use some help fulfilling, we can reach out and ask, “Is anyone able to help with this?”

If you can, you raise your hand.

If you can’t, that’s okay too.

There’s no cost to join. There’s no commitment. And there’s no expectation that you’ll be able to help every time.

You’re simply saying, “When a need comes up, let me know. If I can help, I will.”

And the more people we have willing to do that, the more moms we can support. 💙

This one hit a little close to home. 🥺

After I got off the phone with this mom, I immediately called my sister and said, “We’ve been there.”

We know what it feels like to lose your things in storage because your family simply couldn’t afford to keep paying for it. I remember my mom carrying that stress. And when I heard this mom’s story, all I could think was, we cannot let her lose her things.

We’re not a big organization with endless resources. But God has been providing, and right now, it’s clear that the need is HERE. 🙏🏾✨

Requests are coming in every day from moms who just need a little help getting through what’s in front of them. And as long as we’re able, we’re going to keep showing up.

The requests keep coming, and I want us to be able to keep saying YES. 💙

Yes to groceries. Yes to helping with a bill. Yes to gas, diapers, toiletries, and the everyday things that can make a hard month a little easier for a mom and her babies.

But we can’t do it alone. We need a Village.

Right now, our goal is to grow our Village to 25 monthly supporters, with a goal of raising $500 a month that we can count on to help fulfill requests like this.

But here’s the thing: even if all 25 people only gave $1 a month, that still matters.

$25 is gas in someone’s tank.
$25 is a few groceries to help get a family through the week.
$25 is help toward a bill that a mom is struggling to pay.

$25 is help we didn’t have before.

So please don’t count yourself out because you think your $1 isn’t enough. Your dollar next to someone else’s dollar starts adding up.

We have 6 people in the Village right now. We need 19 more. 💙

Sometimes I look around at my life and I honestly can’t fathom that I’m here.

That things are okay.

That I’m not constantly living in survival mode anymore.

Because for a really long time, I was.

There were years when life felt like one thing after another. Years of trying to figure out how to make things work, how to keep going, how to get from one side of a hard season to the other.

And today, as I reflect on my life on my 34th birthday, I think about the moms we support at Plenteemore.

And my prayer for every one of them is that one day, they get to look around at their lives and feel what I feel today.

That they get to realize: I made it through.

That life doesn’t always feel this heavy. That the struggle doesn’t last forever. That there is life on the other side of survival.

But I also know that when you’re in it, knowing that things might eventually get better doesn’t put groceries in your refrigerator today.

It doesn’t put gas in your car.

It doesn’t wash your kids’ clothes or help you figure out the bill that’s due before payday.

Sometimes you just need some help getting from here to there.

And I want Plenteemore to be part of that help.

I will do everything I can to continue showing up for these moms and their children. But I also know that I can’t build what I believe Plenteemore can become by myself.

I need a village.

So for my 34th birthday, I’m asking you to help me build one.

One person’s dollar may feel small. But a village of people deciding to give what they can, month after month?

That gives us the ability to keep showing up.

So this year, I don’t need a birthday gift.

This mom reached out to Plenteemore because she needed a little help with diapers, toiletries, and some everyday essentials for her family, and we were grateful to be able to show up for her.

A huge thank you to the Greater Fort Lauderdale Diaper Bank Fort Lauderdale Diaper Bank for helping us with the diapers! And listen... Dollar Tree came THROUGH. 😂 We were able to find so many of the things she needed in one trip.
