Stop overcomplicating your short game! Mastering your trajectory around the greens all comes down to your setup. Here are the two essential chipping placements you need: 👇
☁️ High & Soft (Front Placement)
* Setup: Ball forward, just off the inside of your lead heel.
* Technique: Keep your hands neutral and your weight slightly forward.
* When to use it: When you are short-sided, have to carry a bunker, or need the ball to stop quickly. Let the bounce of the wedge do the work!
🏃♂️ Low & Running (Back Placement)
* Setup: Ball back, just inside your trail foot.
* Technique: Press your hands forward and keep 70-80% of your weight on your lead leg.
* When to use it: When you have plenty of green to work with. This delofts the club for a classic bump-and-run—the highest percentage shot in golf.
Coach’s Tip: Don't try to "scoop" the high shot or "chop" the low shot. Let your ball placement and the loft of the club dictate the flight!
Keep grinding out there. 🇺🇸⛳️
