Save the Water Our vision is contamination free, healthy water for all. Mainstream knowledge and awareness starts with science. Is the Flint incident sending a warning?

The mission of Save the Water™ is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water, and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impact. Today there are so many chemicals used in our day to day lives, which weren’t even invented 10-15 years ago. There is no regulatory limit on how much of these new chemicals can be in our water and some of th

em are now being detected even in our drinking water. It is STW’s belief that these unknown and untested contaminants in water could detrimentally impact our health and environment. Save the Water conducts analytical research on these untested contaminants, treats water to remove them, and promotes awareness about contamination and healthy water. Without clean drinking water, no species plant, animal or human can be saved. We must insure that the water is not contaminated to the point where we can no longer drink it.

🌎 Happy World Environment Day!

Over the past few days, we’ve explored some of the most important environmental signals around us: the growing impacts of climate change on water resources, the power of nature-based solutions, and the vital connection between clean water and healthy ecosystems.

These signals remind us that our environment is interconnected—and that local action can create lasting change.

💧 At Save The Water™, we’re answering these signals through research, education, and innovative water treatment technologies. Through our Everglades Initiative, we’re helping protect one of the world’s most unique ecosystems by studying water quality, identifying harmful
contaminants, and supporting efforts to preserve the wetlands that sustain countless species and communities.

The future of our environment depends on the actions we take today. Together, we can help protect our waters, strengthen ecosystems, and create a healthier future for all.

🌿 2 Days Until World Environment Day
Sometimes the best solutions come from nature itself.

From wetlands that filter pollutants to plants like duckweed that help clean wastewater,
nature-based solutions can play a powerful role in protecting our water resources.
At Save The Water™ , we support innovative approaches that help create cleaner water and healthier communities.

💧 Working with nature means working toward a more sustainable future.

Florida’s iconic freshwater springs are under pressure. New research from UF/IFAS shows repeated flooding is reversing spring flow, damaging ecosystems, and accelerating algae growth. Scientists say what’s happening in Florida could become more common nationwide as extreme rainfall increases. 🌧️🌿

💧 Biodiversity starts with water.

🌿 This International Day for Biological Diversity, we’re reminded that healthy ecosystems depend on clean, safe water. From wetlands and rivers to the communities and wildlife that rely on them, water contamination threatens the delicate balance of life we all share.

🌎 This year’s theme, “Acting locally for global impact”, reminds us that meaningful change begins in our own communities. Protecting biodiversity starts with local action—and clean water is at the center of it all.

🌴 At Save The Water™, we help protect ecosystems and communities through water research, innovative treatment technologies, and education that advances cleaner, safer water.

What we put in our water doesn’t just disappear — our bodies can absorb it too. 💧

In this simple experiment, chlorine is revealed using orthotolidine indicator. One beaker changes yellow immediately… but the water where a hand was submerged barely changes color at all.

Where did those chemicals go?

Our skin can absorb substances from the water we touch every day. That’s why clean, safe water matters — not only for drinking, but for our overall health and future.

At Save the Water™, we are committed to advancing clean water research, education, and community solutions that protect people and ecosystems around the world.

🌎 Every action counts.
