Reserve your flag early. We encourage members to reserve their flag as early as possible. Early purchases help spread out expenses over time, making participation easier to budget while also helping us plan and prepare the Program Book more effectively.

English High Tea at Vienna Café

Our English High Tea event at the lovely Vienna Café was an absolute delight. It was wonderful to see our members enjoying a relaxing afternoon, savoring the beautifully presented teas and treats.

Moments like these, sharing conversations, mingling with friends, and seeing the smiles on everyone’s face, are what truly define our club and make it so special.

A heartfelt thank‑you to Nina Britton for chairing this charming event with such grace and care.

With deep sadness in our hearts, we share that Miryam Morey de Bohabot, the beloved mother of two of our dear members-Julia Sotomarino and Ana Ruth Bohabot-Cowan, passed away and went home to be with the Lord last Sunday at 2:36 p.m.

The Morey‑Bohabot family is deeply grateful for your prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. We find comfort in knowing that she is now resting in peace in God’s loving embrace. Please continue to keep the Morey‑Bohabot family in your prayers.

Miryam Morey de Bohabot was cherished by all at the BIWC. She was an active participant in our community and faithfully supported all our events. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to her family and pray that God’s peace surrounds them.

BIWC takes a deep dive at the NSU’s Guy Harvey Oceanographic Center.
We are delighted to share with our members an exclusive and enriching experience at the Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center.

Our members had a fascinating walk-through tour featuring an inside look at innovative marine research, ocean conservation initiatives, and the important work being done to better understand and protect our oceans.
