Did you know that expanded polystyrene (EPS)—the white foam used in packaging, insulation, and more—is found in everyday products across our lives?

It helps protect goods, insulate buildings, and even supports food and medical safety. It’s also made without ozone-depleting chemicals and has a low environmental impact when used properly.

The challenge? It’s not accepted in most curbside recycling programs.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Atlas Molded Products to create a local solution.

Join us for a Hard-to-Recycle Drop-Off Event:

đź“… May 2
⏰ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Atlas Molded Products, 5250 Sherman St, Denver

Bring your non-food contact polystyrene materials and we’ll help you recycle them properly.

Together, we can reduce waste and keep Colorado beautiful ♻️

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

Today is a celebration—but it’s also a reminder of the role we all play in caring for the places we call home.

At Keep Colorado Beautiful, we believe that when people feel connected to their communities, they’re more likely to take action—whether that’s volunteering, recycling, planting, or simply being more mindful of their impact.

Every action, big or small, adds up.

Let’s continue working together to protect and care for Colorado—not just today, but every day 💚
